Tuesday CE Writing
Speed Writing: Do speed writing five times. This is about once a week starting in August. DO NOT wait and do them all at one time because this will not help improve your writing! You can use your own topics or choose topics from the following choices:
1. A Summer Festival Memory
2. Ways You Like to Stay Cool in the Summer
3. Your Favorite Summer Activity
4. Your Best Summer Vacation
5. Your Worst Summer Memory
6. Describe a 'Dream' Summer Vacation
7. Describe Your Favorite Summer Food
8. Do You Like Hot Weather? Why or Why Not?
9. Do You Like Air Conditioning?
10. Differences in High school and University Summer Vacation
Wednesday CE Reading
Vocabulary: Review all words (1-525) and study new words (526-575). There will be a large vocabulary quiz on October 1st.
Extensive Reading: Read up to ????? words and write a summary on the Pink Book Report sheets for each two books that you have read. This needs to be completed by October 1st.
Reading for Speed and Fluency: Read five more reading from the first semester and mark your Green Book with a circle for their second time and a triangle for your last attempt. Please strictly record the time of each attempt in your Green Book.
Thursday. Learner Training
Reflection Journals: Write five reflection journals. You will write one for each of your English classes (grammar, writing, reading, learner training and projects).
